- Does the PT Static Stand include feet?: The PT Static Stand does not include feet. The feet must be ordered separately. Is the PT Static stand made of armored steel?: The PT Static stand is made of mild steel, but is designed to effectively shed bullets should it get hit. Why are there bends in the front and rear edges of the stand?: The purpose of the bends in the stand is to help provide increased rigidity and deflect errant bullets that happen to hit the stand. What stand height is optimal?: It all depends on the type of shooting you are doing and the head plate attached to the stand. Generally, using a 3' or 4' stand puts the target head at the most realistic height for training. If you are attaching a heavy target head (e.g. a PT IPSC Torso), the 4' stand might be too tall and cause the target to become unstable.
