The portable stand folds to less than 3 feet long in just seconds, so it easily fits in the trunk of even the smallest car. The target head is made of AR500 armor steel so you can shoot it with anything from .22 rimfire to .44 magnum or .45 ACP with no damage at all.
The beauty of a steel target is that you don’t have to waste time changing paper or putting out new tin cans. The head of the Evil Roy Target will “bounce” a little when you hit it, so you get instant positive feedback.

The 1x2 Holder Option allows you to switch your steel target head for a simple clamp that holds two 1" x 2" wooden strips, allowing you to staple or clamp paper and cardboard targets to the 1x2's.

-Shooting the New CZ52 at the Evil Roy Practice Target - How does my Evil Roy target ship?: The stand ships pre-assembled and collapsed. It comes with two lock nuts, two wing nuts, and two carriage bolts. You can use the wing nuts to mount the target head by hand, or use a 3/4" socket to mount the target head with lock nuts. Does the name "Evil Roy" apply to a specific target head?: The name "Evil Roy" applies to the collapsible stand and not to a particular target head. Because the bolt holes are all the same, you can attach any Action Target target head to the Evil Roy stand as long as it isn't too heavy (e.g. PT IPSC Torso, PT IPSC Hostage, PT IPSC A-Zone, etc.). Can I shoot rifle ammunition at a cowboy action (CAS) target head?: The CAS shapes target heads are made of 3/8" AR500 steel and are designed for centerfire handgun and cowboy action loads. Shooting high-powered rifle rounds at CAS shapes target heads will result in damage. Why are there two sets of bolt holes on the stand?: The Evil Roy stand has two setting. The high setting is 3' tall, and the lower setting is 2' tall. You can set it to the lower setting by pulling the neck back 90 degrees and then pushing down until it locks in place. You can then mount a target head using the bolt holes located on the front of the round handle. The lower setting provides increased stability for heavier target heads (e.g. PT Torso, PT Hostage, etc.).
